ABOUT BSA
OUR MISSION
STRUCTURE | TRAINING | DEVELOPMENT
The Bettendorf Soccer Association was incorporated in 1982 as a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide structure, training, and development in a competitive soccer experience for the youth of Scott County, Iowa. BSA strives to support area youth with training and development of individual and team skills with respect to youth soccer activities. This program continues to fill a need that is not currently supported in most of our school or community sponsored activities. Soccer continues to be one of the fastest growing sports programs in the United States and BSA strives to prepare youth to participate in this sport at every level from our Academy program through athletes preparing for their college careers and beyond.
CORE VALUES
FUN | CONSISTENCY | TEAMWORK
At BSA, our core values are to develop young players in a fun environment while providing the necessary structure and guidance. Consistency in our approach and training is a key part of our process and provides the necessary elements for progressing skills from our Academy, to Competitive, to Elite, and through High School.
Through all of this, the emphasis on teamwork is instilled through league and tournament play while competing on the highest levels against the best teams across the Midwest and the Nation!
BSA COSTS
HIGHLY COMPETITIVE & AFFORDABLE
Individual development programs including camps, training programs, and skills development are fee based programs open to all individuals on a space available basis.
BSA sponsors teams that train within our organization and participate in various leagues and tournaments throughout the Midwest. Players on select teams pay an annual club fee to BSA of $200 ($100 per season - spring and fall). This fee covers the use of BSA facilities, management, and related equipment used during the team experience. All other teams fees such as league fees, tournament, uniforms, etc. are the responsibility of the individual and his/her team. Depending on the level of the team, these fees typically range between $150 to $500 per player per season (fall and spring).
